Lettings Negotiator

Job Summary

A Lettings Negotiator is responsible for managing the letting of residential properties by marketing available properties, negotiating tenancy terms, and supporting landlords and tenants throughout the lettings process. The role requires strong sales ability, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach to achieve lettings targets while delivering high levels of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Register prospective tenants and understand their property requirements.
  • Arrange and conduct property viewings with potential tenants.
  • Promote available properties through property portals, social media, and agency marketing channels.
  • Negotiate tenancy terms between landlords and tenants.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
  • Generate new business opportunities and assist in winning new instructions.
  • Process tenancy applications and support referencing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant lettings legislation and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records using CRM or property management software.
  • Achieve individual and team lettings targets.
  • Provide regular feedback to landlords following property viewings.
  • Assist with property listings, photography coordination, and marketing materials.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Basic understanding of tenancy agreements and referencing procedures
